About team d sports

Team D Sports is an organization that promotes amateur athletics through clinics, showcases and sporting events. The organization was created in 2015 by Hall of Fame coach Wayne Dozier. The purpose of Team D Sports is to provide high school athletes and coaches in Oklahoma  and surrounding states with services and opportunities to improve their skills and knowledge of baseball.

Players and coaches alike can gain and improve their skills through the Oklahoma Baseball Show.

Players can also use the services provided by Team D Sports' Central Oklahoma College Showcases to fulfill their athletic aspirations to play at the next level and be evaluated by college coaches and professional scouts.

In 2015, Wayne Dozier completed a long and successful coaching career at Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, Oklahoma.  As the Head Baseball Coach at Carl Albert, Dozier led the Titans to 15 state tournament appearances in 17 years.  The Titans reached the state finals 9 times under Dozier including a stretch of 4 consecutive finals appearances from 2012-2015.  Carl Albert won 5 state baseball titles under Dozier's leadership. The titles came in  2007, 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2014. During his 31 year coaching career, he was the head coach or an assistant coach on 18 state championship teams in four different sports; baseball, football, fast-pitch softball and track.

Dozier was a four-time National Baseball Coach of the Year nominee and a three-time finalist.  As head coach of the Titans, Dozier won multiple state coach of the year awards. Among those were the Oklahoma Coaches Association's Baseball Coach of the Year and the Ferguson Jenkins Award. He is a member of the Oklahoma Coaches Association's Hall of Fame and the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame.

He held many leadership positions including President of the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association and Board Member for the Oklahoma Coaches Association .  He is currently the Assistant Games Coordinator for the Oklahoma All State Games.


Dozier holds a Bachelor of Science degree, a Master of Education degree and an Educational Administration Certification from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.  He ended his education  career  in 2017 as an  Assistant Principal at Carl Albert where he was also the school's athletic administrator. In addition to his role with Team D Sports, he is currently the Process and Procedures Manager for a wireless communication company.
